1. Packaging disposal
Unless previously agreed upon and paid for as part of your quote, we do not dispose of any packaging or waste materials. We will neatly cut up all cardboard boxes into smaller pieces and stack them in a place of your choosing (such as near your recycling bins) and collect any plastic or other small debris into rubbish bags for your convenience, but we cannot take these materials away with us.
2. Safety anchoring and wall fixing
For safety and stability, it is highly recommended that furniture items are secured to the wall. The decision to allow wall mounting rests solely with you as the customer, and we will only anchor items if you explicitly authorize us to do so.
If you choose not to have an item secured to the wall, you assume full responsibility and liability for the stability and safety of that item.
We do secure items to walls, but we do not secure items to floors. We reserve the right to refuse to attach any item to a wall if, in our professional judgment, it is unsafe or not recommended to do so. This includes situations where there are potential hidden pipes, electrical wiring, or unsuitable wall structures. In such cases, it remains your responsibility to take appropriate measures to secure the item.
For outdoor bookings (such as trampolines, climbing frames, sheds, and gazebos), we do not anchor or secure items to the ground unless expressly agreed in writing prior to installation. Post-installation ground securing remains your sole responsibility.
3. Wall mounting details, hidden utilities & safety disclaimer
Wall mounting is quoted as a separate item. Any fixed-price quotes provided for wall-mounting are provisional and dependent on site conditions. We ask customers to provide details about the wall type (e.g. hollow plasterboard, solid block, or plasterboard with solid brick behind) beforehand. Safety requirements are verified on-site.
Please note our safety and liability policy for drilling and mounting:
Right of refusal
If we deem any wall mounting or drilling installation unsafe or not recommended, we retain the right to decline proceeding with that installation.
Detector limitations
While we scan walls with electronic detectors for cables and copper pipes, these devices are not 100% accurate. Buildings without recent plans or with non-standard modifications may have utility runs that cannot be detected. We will do what we can to ensure safety, but absolute certainty is not always possible.
Liability waiver
If we cannot reach 100% certainty regarding the path of utilities in a wall, we will only proceed with drilling if requested by the property owner. In this scenario, the work proceeds under the sole responsibility of the owner, and we disclaim all liability and insurance coverage for any resulting property or utility damage.
4. Cancellations & amendments
If you need to cancel or rearrange your booking, please give us at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations or amendments made with less than 24 hours' notice may result in a retained deposit and an additional call-out charge.
In the unlikely event that we need to reschedule your booking due to reasons outside of our control (such as an accident or the ill-health of an assembler), we will offer you our next available slot as soon as possible. We will always do everything we can to provide a backup installer and deliver a satisfactory service, but we cannot be held liable for unforeseen delays. If your project has exceptionally tight timeframes, please ensure you book well in advance or account for potential adjustments. If you choose to cancel your booking due to a reschedule on our part, no cancellation fee will apply.
All outdoor installations are subject to weather conditions. Our fitters use professional judgment and reliable weather forecasts to determine if an installation can proceed. If conditions such as heavy rain, snow, ice, or extreme temperatures are deemed unsuitable, your booking will be rescheduled to our next available slot at no additional charge to ensure safety and service quality.
