Table of contents

1. Create a clear workspace

Flat pack furniture is assembled flat on the floor before being raised. Please clear as much floor space as possible in the room where the furniture will go. As a rule of thumb, the workspace should be at least double the size of the footprint of the completed furniture item.

2. Check and clear access pathways

Ensure the pathway from your front door to the assembly room is free from obstructions. This is especially important for heavy items like PAX wardrobe boxes, which are up to 2.4 meters long and very heavy.

3. Protect your flooring

While our installers are careful, we recommend placing cardboard (from the furniture boxes) or sheets on the floor to prevent any scratches during the assembly process.

4. Keep pets and children safe

Assembly involves sharp tools, heavy components, and small screws. For safety, please keep children and pets out of the assembly room until the work is completed and tidied up.
